LOOK AT THIS! Here is a terrific Selmer Mark VI or Super Balanced Action BASS Saxophone. WOW Serial number is 92,xxx, which would make this a Mark VI, but it appears to have Super Balanced keyowrk so it is possible that it was made as a Super Balanced, possibly before Selmer switched over to the Mark VI or perhaps they hadn't developed the VI Bass yet and were still making SBAs. In any case, this may well be a one-of-a-kind instrument, and it is the only bass sax I've EVER seen from the best period for Selmer saxes. Condition-wise, this instrument is terrific. Lacquer is original and 95% present with some spotting. There are a few minor dings here and there, but overall it is in really excellent shape. Pads and action have just been adjusted by master repairman Brad Wherry and this horn plays GREAT! I doubt I'll ever see another one-bid on this one while you can!
