WOW!' Description This is a TERRIFIC Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone. The Mark VI tenor is a modern icon of saxophones. Made popular by jazz greats throughput history, the Mark VI is generally considered the finest saxophone ever made, and pristine examples can command prices well in excess of $13000, and saxes of the five-digit vintage like this one (65613) are generally considered the best instruments. This saxophone is in amazing condition. Like many instruments of this vintage, it has been relacquered, but they did a nice job and the lacquer is nice and dark. There are no dents or other damage. This horn has recently has a complete repad and is one of the best players I have, and it includes the original Selmer resonators. Neck is original and the serial numbers match.
