Rampal    Here is an exceptional, very beautiful, old, french, full size violin made by Charles Jean-Baptiste Collin-Mézin , Luthier, bearing the n° 759 and his signature and dated 1937. This Master violin maker is one of the best french violin makers.  This instrument is in very good condition, without any crack or repair. It is also in very good playing condition and does not need any work. This violin is extremely well made, the wood is wonderful, highly flamed, the scroll is perfect. Fluted “f” holes wings. Of course it is hand made, with very old wood, it is fully blocked and lined and the purfling is inlaid. Very very beautiful original oil varnish. Fantastic two-piece flamed back measuring 359 mm. Flamed ribs, neck and scroll. Original bridge stamped COLLIN MEZIN. This excellent instrument is ideal for a professional violinist, soloist and collector.
