Based on my experience, unlike Telecasters, Strats are either hit or miss but this one sounds great.  Place a call to Phil Jacoby and he will tell you the same. You just can't get a bad sound out of this guitar and the set of pups sound very warm/even. The bridge pup, which I almost NEVER use on other Strats,  sounds just perfect as it does not sound weak or ear piercing.
