The zipper and stitching on the case are in excellent condition)Specs:The Gold Line 30M8 is a complete 1/3 octave, battery operated, portable audio spectrum analyzer. It can be powered by 8 alkaline or NICad rechargeable cells, or with a 12 volt power supply (included). The unit is also equipped with a Batter Test Button to check the status of the batteries.The 30M8 is also a highly accurate dB meter, capable of measuring Sound Pressure Levels in either "A" or "C" weighing.The microphone is factory calibrated for the 30M8. It is an omnidirectional electret condenser that is interternally equalized to be flat to plus or minus 1 dB from 20Hz to 20kHz. It can be attached directly to the unit via the XLR input or it can be used remotely via a mic cable. .The Controls:The Input Sensitivity Switch is an 11-position switch, which moves in 5 dB steps from 75dB SPL to 130 dB SPL.The Input Range/Gain Switch can be set for 0dB, or for –20dB gain which will increase the maximum sensitivity to 55dB. The Weighting Switch is used to select the three frequency response functions: Flat, C/SPL and A/SPL.The Decay Time Switch allows three functions: fast, slow and hold.Display consists of a matrix of 300 LEDs: a column for each of the 30 filter bands, and 10 LEDs in each column with VU meter type scaling.Line input jack fits standard ¼” phone plug. Microphone is automatically disconnected with plug insertion.The 30M8 is provided with 8 memories which are active until the unit is turned off. The memories are controlled with the 8 position Memory Switch, the Mode Button (which toggles between  “live” and “memory “ modes) and the Store Button (which stores a reading into the selected memory bank indicated by the Memory Switch.)Items is sold as-is.
