Excelsior Symphony Grand, Model A, 41/120 The Excelsior Symphony Grand, Model A, is considered one of the best accordions ever made. This was the top of the Excelsior line when manufactured in the 50s. Originally owned by Joe Biviano. This is a classic accordion that is in excellent condition. · Made in the US · 4 treble sets of reeds – LMMDouble Tone Chamber · Concert tuning – tuning excellent · Wonderful tone - Dynamic sound and response · Tone Modulator on grill · 6 bass reeds · 41 keys, 19.25”, on walnut base. White key tops. Like new. Worn and discolored keys were replaced · 10 treble registers - Bassoon (L), Accordion (LMM), Harmonium (LMH), Melodeon (LM), Organ (LH), Oboe (M), Musette (MMH), Violin (MM), Clarinet (MH), and Piccolo (H) · Palm master - LMMH · 120 bass · 7 bass registers · 17-fold bellows - Good compression · Bellows protector · Factory installed amplification on grill. Separate Tone and Volume control for Treble and Bass. Cable supplied. Works fine · New wide profile leather straps. Will also send cloth straps · Original Excelsior case in excellent condition - Original key to case- New handle and new hasp - Excellent padding · The instrument looks almost new. Condition is 9/10. Only sign of wear is very small (3/16” X 1/16” inches) area on back bottom edge of accordion and a very small area on edge of back panel also in the back bottom. Otherwise spotless.
