The enclosure is front-ported and delivers unparalleled, distortion-free sound to very high levels if desired. The ScanSpeak tweeter sounds precise and airy but is non-fatiguing. The ATC 3" dome midrange driver has a distinct and pleasing sound. Some say it is the best midrange driver on the planet. The 12" Volt Radial driver is used in top-of-the-line speakers from leading manufacturers. Its performance is excellent under even the most demanding conditions. The enclosure has been customized to very precise standards. What you hear is what is intended by the artist. This speaker is very enjoyable to listen to, yet extremely neutral. It has a frequency response of 30kHz down to 29Hz. With appropriate amplification, you will never require a subwoofer.
