Description
Hello, and thank you for taking a look at my auction offerings.  I have been collecting brass instruments for some sixty years and it is now time to downsize my huge collection.  I am not a dealer, only a lover of fine jazz and the horns used to play it. Please feel free to ask questions about any item I have listed and also do ask your band directors and/or repairmen about the quality of the horns.  My goal is for you to know what you are bidding on and to be happy with the item when you receive it and for years after. Today I am offering: Item:   Bugle, vintage, in key of G Made by:   American Artist Approximate year:  early1900's Serial Number:    1066 Special Info:   comes with no case but will be safely packed for shipping, and has mouthpiece. Mouthpiece:   no name, plays like a 12C for me. Special measurements:  6 1/2 inch bell, 22 inches long Any Etchings:   name on bell Finish:   __Lacquer               __Silver/Nickel               __Wood               _XX_Other - tarnished brass Condition of Finish:   You can see by the pictures that this old gal has probably never been polished - there are scratches and small nicks or dents here and there and bell shows her age - she's not the prettiest gal on the float. Playing Condition:      Slide:   is free    Valve:  is good    Compression checks out good. Suitable for:   This is a collectible old bugle - but can still be played today. Special Comments:   A nice addition to any bugler's collection, this is an old, undisturbed classic. Approximate shipping weight is _7_ pounds.   Note:  We usually ship using US Postal Service Priority Mail, Monday thru Friday, within the US.  Overseas we use Express Mail International, and insurance is required.  Check out our other items and our Store! We stand behind our instruments. Please bid carefully and with purpose.  Do not waste our time or tie up our inventory with fake or erroneous bids, please. Your feedback is appreciated and is reciprocated. Thanks for looking!   Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool. List your items fast and easy and manage your active items.
