As you can see in the schematic below, each line of the circuit resolves to the other two via pin 1. This box will still function even with an open pin1, pin2 or pin3. Since Line 1 and Line 2 both resolve to Ground the AudioMan ISO Box also acts as a Line Level Terminator which adds new methods for eliminating hum caused by ground loops. This device will interface analog XLR 3 pin type intercom systems of any kind (Clear-Com, Telex, RTS, HME, etc.).
