Description
This is a used, excellent condition Arrakis 12,000 series broadcast console that spent the past year in Mark Lindsay's Rock & Roll Cafe in Portland, Oregon. As you may remember, Mark is the former lead singer of Paul Revere & the Raiders on all those great ‘60s and ‘70s hits and he had his own radio show that aired on K-Hits 106.7 FM in Portland -- all broadcast live from a custom radio booth inside his restaurant every week on this very console. Also, one year ago, several thousand dollars was spent on hiring a team of top radio engineers to completely clean and service this console from the ground up, so it is in immaculate, pro-quality shape. Of course, it is being sold as-is, but the unit was still working perfectly when taken out of service this last May. It has been kept in temperature controlled storage ever since and was purchased new in 2000 for over $8000. The console has a variety of features you'd expect on a higher-end board like a custom designed dump button, multicolor lighted meter bridge, timer control, talkback, VCA faders, 18 channels + several busses, etc... Comes complete with power supply and will be professionally packaged and fully insured for safe shipping. I'll ship anywhere in the lower 48 states and the shipping charge is a flat $200. The board's dimensions are approximately 33 inches wide by 28 inches deep by 7 inches high and it weighs about 70 pounds. I accept PayPal, credit cards (Visa, MC, AmEx, Discover), cashier's checks and money orders. A couple of extra photos were added here to show Mark in the studio with this console, along with some music friends that stopped by like Kool & the Gang and Art Alexakis from Everclear.
