This fabulous gold plated Artist Model from the early 1920s would be #4, and it was hard to decide the ranking of what to keep, but I have a gold plated Buescher that won't be for sale, and a silver Conn that is especially great and I like about as much as the gold Conn, so for the sake of variety this sax will be for sale rather than keep two in gold plate.  Superb condition: plating, pads, action, case...all great. A real treasure in an antique sax that was about the best made in the early 1920s (Maybe 1924), and still great today. A buttery smooth tone great for romantic ballads. Great player in extraordinary condition, like museum quality. If I was only going to keep one saxophone it would be too hard to decide, and this might be the one, so you should be thrilled with it too. Of course it is not a 'Rock & Roll' sax, but that's easy to find.  On the other hand, if you like the rich tone of vintage saxophones from a day when the saxophone was supposed to mimic the human voice...a sweet sound for old jazz ballads...Smooth & Mellow...You've got to love this!
