This is one of the best sounding of all the Fender Tweed amps.  The tone is legendary.  I've compared this amp to the Tweed Super, Tweed Pro, Tweed Tremolux and the Tweed Champ.  It's loud enough to play small to medium size gigs and can be miced through the PA for larger engagements.  Best of all, the amp is perfect for recording rendering a much broader tonal spectrum than a Champ or a Princeton.  Fender started out making this amp in a narrow cabinet, similar to the Wide Panel Deluxe specs.  Then they came out with a wide cabinet, like this one.  The wide cabinet is considered the most desirable and is worth more than the other versions.  Fender also offered a limited edition tall cabinet Deluxe very late in the production run.
