It is the long scale model A, the model highly prized by serious professionals and Steinway afficionados. Several years ago this piano received a complete restoration of all components by Callahan Piano Service, including new pinblock, tuning pins and strings, as well as a complete action rebuild with all new parts and Stanwood balancing system. The original soundboard is in perfect condition. The case was also refinished in hand rubbed satin ebony lacquer. The tone is exceptional and the touch is perfect.
